Camarillo Community Band 23rd Summer Concert Season
The Camarillo Community Band sponsored by Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District is excited to announce its 23rd Summer Concert Season. Concerts will be held on Thursday July 10th, 17th, 24th, & 31st at 7:00 PM in Constitution Park (next to City Hall) in Camarillo.
Head down to the park with chairs, blankets and a picnic dinner for an evening of summer fun. Listen to the band perform a wide variety of musical favorites.
Every week all the children in the audience grab an official Camarillo Community Band Baton and conduct the band.

Meadowlark Service League will present the 20th Annual "A Taste of Camarillo" Wine and Food Festival, at the historic Camarillo Ranch, 201 Camarillo Ranch Road in Camarillo. On July 26, dinner and rare wine live auction will be held from 5 PM - 9 PM. Tickets are $50 per person. The following day, July 27 a wine and food tasting will be from 1 PM - 4 PM. Sunday, July 27, 2008, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Taste over 100 varieties of wine, beer, ciders and gourmet food from over 50 local restaurants on the lawns of the historic Camarillo Ranch at 201 Camarillo Ranch Road, Camarillo. There will also be a pre-event Dinner and Live Wine Auction Gala on Saturday, July 26, 5 PM - 8 PM at the Camarillo Ranch. A Taste of Camarillo wine, gourmet hors d'oeuvres, and live music. There are new grants available for families struggling with child health-related expenses. UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation is accepting applications for the 2008 grant program now. The grants are available to help children who need critical health care treatment, services or equipment not covered or not fully covered by their parents' health benefit plans. Parents and legal guardians may apply for grants of up to $5,000 for child medical services. For eligibility guidelines or to apply go online to www.uhccf.org.
